Music Ministry

Eastside Worship Center’s music ministry exists to be a vehicle to welcome and establish an atmosphere to usher in God’s presence. And to lead the congregation in anointed praise, worship and spiritual songs where Jesus Christ is lifted up and where the Holy Spirit can move freely among the congregation.

As a music ministry, our primary mission is to magnify and glorify Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:16-17) in everything we do. Furthermore, it is also the mission of the music ministry to facilitate the fulfillment of the overall mission and vision of EWC.

Hey y’all. I’m Luke.

I’m honored to be a husband to my beautiful wife, Laurel. I enjoy being outdoors, good BBQ, throwing a frisbee with my dog, and playing all kinds of music!

I’ve had a life long love and passion for music. I believe music is a powerful thing that has moved hearts and emotions for centuries. Martin Luther is attributed to say, “Next to the Word of God, the noble art of music is the greatest treasure in the world.”

I also believe that God has given us the gift of music, and when combined with the powerful truth of God’s Word, it becomes a beautiful expression of worship to God and testimony to those around. I long for people to connect their hearts, minds, spirits, and emotions that God has given us to the truth of who he is thorough “…psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs.” (Col. 3:16)
